Gunfire broke out on the streets of Reseda Wednesday morning, leaving at least one person wounded by shattered glass.
At about 10:30 a.m., police responded to Reseda Boulevard just south of Strathern Street for reports of gunfire between two vehicles, the Los Angeles Police Department told KTLA.
It’s unclear if the shooting came from both vehicles, a black Nissan Frontier and a black Volkswagen Jetta, or if the occupants of one car were shooting at the other, police said, but the weapon or weapons involved were semi-automatic.
Those vehicles fled the scene.
A bystander’s vehicle was struck by that gunfire, shattering the windshield and injuring an occupant with broken glass. That person was treated at the scene.
A traffic collision at Reseda Boulevard and Arminta Street is also possibly connected to the incident, though police did not detail why they think that could be the case.
Nancy Fontan contributed to this report.
