Police have arrested a pair of men that they say are responsible for the shooting death of a local music promoter at a Glendale strip mall earlier this month.
According to the Glendale Police Department, Robert Dehnoushi, 54, was shot dead at a strip mall in the 800 block of North Pacific Avenue on Aug. 15 at about 8:45 a.m.
Dehnoushi, a father of two who was a well-known music promoter in the area, was shot in the head and killed instantly by a man on a motorcycle, witnesses said.
The witnesses told KTLA that the gunman was waiting for Dehnoushi in the parking lot and that the shooting appeared to be targeted.
Sky5 images from the scene showed the victim lying on the ground just outside the Paris Baguette pastry shop between two vehicles, one of which was his white Dodge pickup truck.
Glendale police on Thursday morning arrested two men, 44-year-old Jerry Baza Tolentino of Los Angeles and 43-year-old Arman Martinyan of Sylmar, in connection with the killing. They were both arrested on suspicion of murder, police said.
The motive for the shooting was not released.
The strip mall is located about a mile away from the Americana at Brand and Glendale Galleria shopping centers.
KTLA’s Vivian Chow contributed to this report.
