A man was hospitalized after being attacked and stabbed with a sword-like weapon outside a gas station in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles early Thursday.
The incident was reported around 2 a.m. at the ARCO near Sepulveda Boulevard and Saticoy Street.
Video showed the victim being treated at the scene with blood spilling down his left arm and leg.

The unidentified victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, a Los Angeles police officer recovered a weapon with a handle and some type of blade that was believed to be used in the attack.
The suspect, an unidentified man, was taken into custody at the scene.
The motive for the attack was unknown.
