Law enforcement is dismantling a pro-Palestinian encampment that has been set up on the University of California, Los Angeles campus for about a week now.
The encampment was declared an unlawful assembly before officers moved in late last night.
The officers from the Los Angeles Police Department and California Highway Patrol were initially outnumbered and decided to call for reinforcements and wait until the morning hours to move in.
Video showed several demonstrators being taken into custody as officers pulled down the metal and wood barriers around the encampment.
