A family is searching for their beloved rescue cat after her cage fell and broke at LAX earlier this week, causing her to escape.
According to a bulletin posted to social media, the short hair tuxedo cat, named Gocha, was traveling with her family when her cage fell at LAX Gate 3B on Wednesday around 8 p.m.
She was spotted at a sidewalk bumpout on World Way North near Terminals 3 and B shortly after.
It is believed she jumped into a construction zone; the bulletin says Gocha slipped into a construction area and fell to a restricted first-floor zone.
Gocha is said to be scared of people but may approach if she is hungry. The woman who posted the missing cat poster said she “looks like Batman with one white and one black leg.”
There is a cash reward for anyone who can locate Gocha.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 951-534-5288, per the bulletin.
