A pair of street takeovers left burning cars on the streets of South Los Angeles Monday morning.
One street takeover shut down intersections at Manchester Avenue and Avalon Boulevard and at Florence and Normandie avenues, and another did the same at South Figueroa Street and Jefferson Boulevard in University Park.
Officials believe the takeovers could be connected, as vehicles were set ablaze and left at the separate takeover sites.
In addition to the burned vehicles, at least some attendees allegedly smashed a window of a Chevrolet dealership in University Park.
No arrests were made, as those involved dispersed before police arrived.
