Video captured the moment a group of suspects stabbed a man multiple times during a violent confrontation in Santa Ana.
The wanted suspects were identified as:
- Andrew Gonzalez, 18
- Eyving Vasquez, 18
- Jose Mandujanofierros, 21
On Tuesday, Santa Ana police responded to an assault near Diamond Street and Fairview Street around noontime.
Video of the violent confrontation showed three suspects surrounding a male victim on the street. As the victim scuffled with the suspects, the three men, all armed with knives, were seen stabbing him multiple times in the torso.
The victim fled from the scene after the stabbing as the three suspects walked away.
The victim was found lying on the sidewalk with multiple stab wounds to his abdomen near McFadden Avenue and Sullivan Street. Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital where he survived the attack.
Investigators learned a dispute occurred between the suspects and the victim at a public park.
The trio fled the scene before police could arrive. They remain at large.
All three suspects were described as Hispanic males. Gonzalez is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Vasquez is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Mandujanofierros is 5 feet 5 inches tall, 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
